Poultry - Health Issues

chicken health2The pullets at Blake Poultry Farm are vaccinated following a vaccination programme prepared by St David’s Poultry Vets. This includes the Salmonella vaccine. A full breakdown of vaccines can be obtained on request.

All birds comply with legislation on Salmonella testing and Salmonella Certificates are available on request.

Perching facilities are available to the birds during rear to make the transition to the laying house with perches easier.

All Blake Poultry Farm pullets are hybrid birds that give a good egg production. They are brown egg layers.

The Blake Poultry Farm premises are Freedom Food and BEIC (Lion Code) Approved giving you the assurance of a quality pullet.
